Question:
I have a coachman hybrid travel trailer. One edge of the slide roof is split. How would I go about patching this if possible. Split is right on edge. See picture.

Most slides have EPDM rubber roofs but because EPDM is rubber it requires treatment each year to keep it soft and prevent shrinkage. You could replace it with TPO which is another synthetic rubber that will last longer than the EPDM. The smallest roll we carry is the Alpha Systems Superflex TPO RV Roof Membrane - White - 67-1/2 Sqft Item # AL68CV which can be cut to fit and you'll need some adhesive # AL27CV and sealant # AL28KV to install it.
The same PVC membrane that you would use on the roof of the RV can also be used and won't require treatment every year like the EPDM or TPO does. You can cut the LaSalle Bristol XTRM PVC RV Roof Membrane - White - 332-1/2 Sqft Item # 3441700534142711435 to size and save the rest for any patches you need down the line on any other slide-outs or for the roof. You'll need some adhesive # 344270341415 and sealant # 34427034145-1 as well.
I've attached a video where Shane will walk you through the steps of installing roof membrane that you can use as a guide for repairing your slide-out roof.
Question:
Is there anything you can recommend to use to temporarily patch this until I can get the rubber top replaced?
