Hey I was trying to reach out concerning about the curt spider gooseneck trailer hitch every picture I seen was with the rails and mine came in and I didn’t get rails so now it doesn’t even fit in my 5 hole prep in my bed unless I have rails. Why did I not get rails with mine

Hi Dawson; sorry for any confusion but the Curt Spyder Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # 16085 you ordered is only designed to fit industry standard rails (ISR), not the prep package on your 2022 Silverado 2500. It is only the hitch, we don't have any options with rails packaged with it. You propably saw rails in our in use/installed pictures because there is no other way to install it. Everything we put this in already had rails, or we installed them because they didn't have the prep package.

If you want to use the Curt Spyder you will need the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch - Ford and Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # C88KR. This adapter installs in the puck system and allows you to use almost anything designed to fit ISR rails. The other option would be to use a gooseneck ball like the B&W Ball and Safety Chain Kit # BWGNXA2061, instead of the Spyder, which is designed for the prep package in your truck.
