Can the BTBRV 2.5inch to 2inch reducer be used in a SuperHitch? It looks like the tab on the bottom of the reducer may interfere with the lower receiver opening

Hey Dave, yeah the lower lip of the BTBRV Magnetic Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeve # BTBRV64FR would make it not ideal for a Superhitch that has stacked hitch openings. Based on that a better option would be an adapter like the part # BWRHXA2182 that doesn't have that lip and costs about the same. Did you lose the one that came with your Superhitch?

Sorry, meant to ask one other question, could the BTBRV reducer be installed upside down with the lip facing up? Or would it still interfere with the lower receiver? The only time I use both receivers simultaneously is when I have the extension

Thanks for the response. The reducer sleeve that came with my SuperHitch Magnum 30K does not have a lip on it and therefore often slides into the receiver too far as I am inserting the extension. This makes it both hard to line up the pin hole as well as difficult to get the reducer out of the receiver. I am surprised with the cost of the SuperHitch there wasn’t a reducer supplied that would solve this issue
