What plow would you recommend for a 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 diesel ? With the kind of mounting system please . Thanks so much.

Hey Caycee, for a larger truck like your 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 I would recommend a plow that uses mounting brackets that attach to the truck frame and not one that attaches to a front hitch as they just don't hold up as well with bigger vehicles.
So for that I would go with the Detail K2 plow part # K2STOR8422 and the mounting kit part # K283011. The plow has an in cab controller that allows you to control the height when you are plowing and is larger at 84 inches wide too. Is this for just doing your driveway or are you wanting to get into plowing bigger jobs?

Hey Caycee, how did the Detail K2 plow and mounting kit work out on your Silverado 2500? Your feedback could really help others deciding between a frame mount and a front hitch setup.
