Question:

Hi, what is the difference between this part AA2558021 and AA2558002? I would be putting these on a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 extended cab truck, so need the best fit. The current running boards on the truck are 75inch long.

Hello Mark,

Great question! The Aries AscentSteps Running Boards w/ Custom Installation Kit - 5-1/2" Wide - Powder Coated Steel # AA2558021, and the # AA2558002 are the same running boards, the difference would be the brackets. The AA2055102 brackets that come with the # AA2558021 are listed "While Supplies Last," and the # AA2558002 come with the new style brackets. With that said, I would order the # AA2558002 since they have the brackets that are here to stay. They running boards themselves are 75" long, so they will fit just like the ones that are on there now.

Something happen to the original ones, or you just don't like the look of them?
