Hello Stephen, thanks for reaching out. We do carry 5 on 4-1/2" idler hubs for a L44649 straight spindle. Take a look at the following:

- Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2K Axles - 13" to 15" Wheels - 5 on 4-1/2 - Pre-Greased # AKIHUB-545-2-LF-2K

The L44649 straight spindles are typically used on light duty axles rated for 2,000 or 2,200 lbs. The hub comes with pre-greased bearings, races, grease seal, lug nuts and grease cap. It will be compatible with the 14" wheels. The seal is a 1.50" ID.

One thing to keep in mind is a some older trailers use "short" hubs that are now obsolete. The # AKIHUB-545-2-LF-2K hub is about 4-1/4" long overall so please make sure this matches what you have currently. As long as all the specs I listed match up, you can be sure the new hub will work.

Hey Stephen, did the 5 on 4-1/2 idler hub end up matching your Shorelander trailer’s straight spindle? Knowing how the fit turned out could really help others working with older light-duty trailers.
