Can I Use the Hopkins Breakaway Switch on My 1997 Coleman Fleetwood Santa Fe Pop-Up Camper?

Question:
I have a 1997 Coleman Fleetwood Santa Fe Pop up camper that I need a break away switch for. I found the below which is similar to the one that I have now. Is this compatible with my 1998 Santa Fe? I know some switches are normally open and some normally closed. Hopkins HM20060

Yes, the Hopkins Pull-to-Test Breakaway Switch with 48" Long Cable # HM20060 will work great as a replacement for your 1997–1998 Coleman Fleetwood Santa Fe pop-up camper.
Breakaway switches like this one are not brand-specific, they all serve the same function of activating the trailer’s electric brakes if the trailer becomes disconnected from the tow vehicle. As long as your trailer has a standard 12-volt breakaway system for electric brakes, this switch will be fully compatible.
The # HM20060 also features a built-in LED indicator that lets you quickly test the breakaway circuit, making it an excellent and reliable upgrade for your setup.
