Im looking to purchasing a Curt baseplate 70102. I have roadmaster tow bar. What adapters do I need? To go from curt baseplate to roadmaster tow bar?

Hi Jerry!

The Curt base plate 70102 (our part # C38FR) can indeed be used in conjunction with a Roadmaster tow bar, but you will need an adapter. For that, you will want the Roadmaster Tow Bar Adapter Brackets for Blue Ox Base Plates # RM-031. I know it says for Blue Ox base plates, but the Curt base plates have the same connections, so this will work perfectly fine.

Do you know which Roadmaster tow bars you have? This adapter will fit the BlackHawk, Falcon, Falcon 2, Falcon All-Terrain, and Sterling with serial numbers up to 16,500. For serial numbers above 16,500 or for the Falcon 3HD, use # RM-031-5.

Also just to make sure, are you installing the base plate on a 2007 to 2017 Jeep Wrangler/Wrangler Unlimited with the standard factory bumper with no winches or guards or a 2018 Jeep JK Wrangler/Wrangler Unlimited with the standard factory bumper with no winches or guards?
