Is Demco SBS Coach Air Kit SM99627 The Same as Demco 6231

How does the tank with kit SM99627 differ from Demco tank which I have seen as 6231? It appears to have an extra component.

While I couldn't find any reference to a tank with one less component, the 6231 you mentioned is the part number - and is the exact same thing as - the Demco SBS Coach Air Kit for Air Force One Supplemental Braking System # SM99627.
It used to be labeled as SMI, as that was the company that made it until Demco acquired them, so Demco just put their part number on it, but the 6231 is the # SM99627, just under different ownership. This part is the coach installation kit section of the Demco Air Force One supplemental braking system.
