What is the Weight Rating for the Curt 4" Offset Ball for Double-Lock Gooseneck Hitch?

Question:
Curious why this adapter shows 10000 lbs GTW in one place, but then shows it is rated for 20,000 lbs and 5000 lbs tongue weight. How can it be rated for only 10,000lbs GTW?

Hey Daren, thanks for reaching out!
The Curt 4" Offset Ball # C602 is rated for 20,000 lbs towing and has the 5,000 lb vertical load capacity.
That 10,000 lb rating is an extension of our facet system that helps with filtering, but I've asked that it be updated to the 20K specs for consistency. Thanks for catching that!
Are you towing gooseneck trailers, or a 5th wheel with a gooseneck adapter?
