Question:

Am interested in the Gen Y hitch. Will it fit or are adapters available to fit it to as a replacement for the Lippert 1716 pin box. (Additional information: Trailer GVRW = 12,720 lb.)

If your trailer has a fifth wheel hitch with a Lippert 1716 bolt pattern and you want to remove the fifth wheel hitch and replace it with a Gen-Y Hitch # GY58GR Fifth Wheel to gooseneck pin box with a 1621 or 1621HD bolt pattern, you will need the Gen-Y Hitch # GY76FR 1/4" Filler Shims.

Gooseneck safety chains are not included. You will need the # 63451 Safety Chain with Clevis hooks. These chains are 42" long, zinc coated, and rated to 26,400 pounds. (sold individually - you would need to buy two)
