I'm on a budget and need to replace a stock 1621 kingpin pin box with a gooseneck pin box. Is there a cheaper option than the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box - Lippert Rhino - 30K GTW - 6.5K TW Part Number: GY95GR oh and I do NOT want one with air bags.

There sure is Steve. For an affordable way to add a gooseneck pin box to your 5th wheel trailer, I recommend the Gen-Y Hitch Nomad 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box item # GY57ND. This pin box fits a 1621 bolt pattern and has a similar auto-latching coupler.
You will also need the Safety Chain with 2 Hooks for Gen-Y 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box item # GY49GR. Safety chains are required for gooseneck connections and they are not included with the pin boxes. These will attach to that cross looking cutout by the Gen-Y logo.
