I reached out to Gen-Y directly and found that the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter Pin Box - Lippert 1621, 1621 HD # GY36FR will require the 1/4" Shim Kit # GY76FR to take up that extra space since you are using the Bolt Pattern B as referenced in the attached picture.
