Will Hellwig Load Pro 35 Heavy Duty Helper Springs Raise The Rear End Of My Motorhome?

Updated 11/11/2025 | Published 10/16/2025

Question:

will these helper springs raise the rear bumper on my 24inch Forest River 24inch Class C motorhome on a Ford E350 chassis ? My stock springs are flat across , no arc . It would be nice to raise the rear by an inch or two . Air bags a better choice ? I flat tow a small pick up or carry a motorcycle on the receiver hitch

Hello Mark, thanks for reaching out. The Hellwig Load Pro 35 Heavy Duty Helper Springs with Custom Mounting Kit # HE37TR is the correct fit for the 2010 Ford Van/E350. These will help beef up the factory springs and minimize sagging. They are not necessarily designed to lift the ride height, but they will stop it from sagging as much which may in turn lead to a small amount of lift.

Hello Jesse , I looked at the Hellwig Load Pro but they are not available until Feb 2 . Any particular reason for such a long fulfillment ? Do you have another option ? I originally asked about Air Bags . Some folks on here and other places swear by air bags. brgds, Mark Tyler

@MarkT Yes it does look like that Hellwig Load Pro 35 # HE37TR is currently backordered and will not be available for about 3 months. That said, we do offer an air bag kit for your vehicle, take a look at the following: - Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers - Rear Axle # AL88138 Air bags are great because they allow you to fine-tune your suspension to accommodate any load. They do require more installation time and maintenance compared to the Hellwig, but they are super versatile. That and you won't have to wait 3 months to get them - they are available now.
