How do you wire the Meyer Base Line 240 to my truck’s battery? Does it need any extra wiring or fuses?

Dave, the Meyer tailgate spreader # ME86FR comes with its own harness and in-cab controller. Just run the included leads to your truck’s battery positive and ground, route the wire to the back socket, and plug in the spreader. It’s protected by a 20-amp fuse and draws under that at full load.
No extra wiring kits are needed - just keep the cable clear of hot exhaust.
Do you plan to mount the controller on the dash or center console?
