How To Move 40' 5th Wheel Trailer 13,000lbs Around Parking Lot For Storage And Maintenance?

Published 10/13/2025

Question:

I have a 40-foot fifth wheel that weighs about 13,000 lbs loaded. Can the Parkit360 Transformer really move something that heavy? I need a way to move it around. Tired of trying to use my truck in small shop and lot area.

Hey Dave. Yes, that’s exactly what the Transformer # PA66VR is built for. It’s rated for trailers up to 15,000 lbs GVWR and 3,000 lbs tongue weight, so you’re well within limits. The dual 1.7-horsepower motors and stabilizer bars keep both drive tires planted evenly for steady traction even under heavy pin loads. Just make sure you’re on level ground 4 grade max and that the stabilizer bars are fully installed before moving.

Do you usually store your fifth wheel on pavement or packed gravel? That’ll help fine-tune setup tips for traction.
