Question:
Hi there, I have had good luck with Timbren in the past and am considering the SES system for my ‘21 Chevy 1500 Trail Boss because at times I pull a travel trailer. My question is about the ride without any load. I t has a nice ride now and I don’t want it to be stiff. I never liked it with the airbags without a load, even when I deflated them to 10psi. Thanks.

Hey Kris. The Timbren Suspension Enhancement System item # T28MR is not compatible with the Trail Boss models of the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 so you'll need to go another direction. None of the suspension systems that replace or mount where the factory bump stops are work for that model.
Instead, I recommend the RoadActive Suspension item # RAS54FR will fit your 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 Trail Boss. It works to increase stability, handling, and control by improving traction and reducing sway. This system works while towing, carrying a heavy load in the bed, or completely unloaded. They install directly over your leaf springs and like air bags can be adjusted to your comfort level.
What kind of trailer are you pulling?

Thanks, Jerred - I’m just hoping it doesn’t stiffen the ride when I’m without a load. I am towing a 30’ travel trailer - around 6000 pounds with tongue weight less than 800. Kris
