Can B and W RVK3000 Hitch Be Adapted to Fit OEM Pucks 2024 Ram 3500

Question:

I have a model 3000 b&w 5th wheel hitch. I want to attach it to my factory gooseneck of my 2024 big horn dodge dually long bed. this adapter seems to be maded to do the trick. Pop Up Towing CDL Curt Double Lock Gooseneck Hitch Adapter Post to RVK3000 Companion 5th Wheel Hitch, will this fit my truck .does b&w make one for my truck. I would much rather buy the one for b&w and you.

Hey Vic, the head of your B and W hitch RVK3000 can be mounted onto the Companion base kit part # BWRVB3600 and you'd have a complete fifth wheel hitch that is designed to fit the OEM rail kit of your 2024 Ram 3500.

Hey Vic, how did things go pairing your B&W 3000 hitch head with the Companion base for your Ram 3500? It’d be great to hear if that setup gave you the fit you were looking for. Your update could make it easier for others working with the same hitch.

@JamesonC that was almost the same cost as buying the new companion hitch. It is hard to believe that a goose neck adapter is not made for dodge 3500 for the older companion 3000. Even the puck system rectanglular adapter for my curt 5th wheel hitch at a little over 5hundred is pricey.

@Vic I usually recommend just selling the complete hitch that you have second hand and then buying an all new hitch as that's best way to offset costs as it's harder to sell just a part of a fifth wheel hitch than selling a complete one.
