Hi, Would you be able to tell me if the subject hitch mount will have jaws centered at axle centerline, please? Thsnk you!

Expert Reply:
Because your Ram has the built-in gooseneck crossmember under the bed, the # BWGNRK1320-5W Turnover Ball that will act at the mount for the # BWRVK3500-5W companion 5th wheel hitch will mount directly centered over the rear axle. The pivot arms for the Companion hitch will place the fifth wheel king pin one inch forward of the axle when installed in one of the three orientations shown in the provided diagram.

The problem with this expert reply is that although he's highlighted in yellow on the diagram "position 2" the diagram doesn't show the Center Post being in position 2. If you look closely on the BW instruction sheet the diagram shows position 2 (kind of grayed out) But you can see that position 2 places the post 3 inches more toward the center than position 1. I called BW customer support and they said it's absolutely essential that the Post is mounted In position 2 on Ram trucks.
