Question:

Hi there, I’m looking at brake controllers for my 19 Tacoma. I was wondering if you could tell me what is different between the “RED72CR” and the “RED68CR”. Thanks!

Hi Josh; these two kits have the same brake controller and wiring harness. The # RED72CR comes with the mounting panels while the # RED68CR does not. Redarc recently put together a kit specifically for the Tacoma that comes with the extra parts and actually helps you save a little money making the # RED72CR the better option.

What kind of trailer will you be towing?

@JoshE the Liberty will work well for the camper and anything else you tow with brakes. This is definitely my favorite brake controller. Simple, reliable, and doesn't take up space in the cab.
