Hey Dylan. I have a solution but I am sorry to say but there isn't going to be a direct fit replacement. There's two reasons for that.
The first is in 2025 all RV AC systems had to change over to a new coolant called R32. This was a EPA mandated decision. Part of this upgrade means that nothing made with the R32 coolant in it, like item # ADV26SR you were looking at, fits any system made before 2025 that has the older R410A coolant. R32 is more efficient but none of the new components work with the prior systems like I'm sure your 2021 Forest River has.
The second reason an Advent AC like item # ADV26SR isn't going to work is we found out about this time last year that those wiring harness are not actually compatible with other systems like Dometic, Furrion, and Coleman for example. The connections can physically be made but the pin functions on the connectors stopped lining up. Additionally, mixing and matching brands voids all warranties.
So even though your AC system is only 4 years old, in order to replace the AC unit you have to replace the entire system. This includes the AC unit, the air distribution box, and a thermostat if you have one.
To replace your black, ducted, 15,000 btu air conditioning system with a new Advent setup, you'll want the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System item # ADV62SR.
What brand, and model if you have it, of AC system do you currently have?
You can add this information and any other questions or concerns you have where it says Reply to Jerred H and I'll be happy to answer them.
