Question:
Have a Keystone Passport Ultra Lite 285RL with a Dometic Duo 579 series 13000 btu rooftop AC, ducted with analog thermostat. The compressor has failed so I want to purchase a rooftop unit that will be compatible. I also want to upgrade to 15000 btu. I hope you will have what Im looking for. Thank you for your time.

Hey Maurice! We no longer recommend swapping out just the AC unit since there have been a lot of compatibility issues. Also, everything is switching to the new R32 refrigerant due to the new 2025 EPA regulations. The old parts for R410A units are already being phased out so it is a good idea to switch so you don't have to replace everything later if something fails.
Sticking with the Advent Air you looked at you can choose from the following:
-Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 15,000 Btu - White - R32 # ADV92SR
-Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 15,000 Btu - Black - R32 # ADV62SR
Both come with the AC unit, ADB, thermostat, and a start capacitor. A heat strip can also be added # ADV34QR. Since we're headed into summer there is a bit of a wait for these since most people have already gotten their replacements. If you have an immediate need for an AC the 13,500 Btu # ADV95SR is still available right now or you could choose an alternate system like the GE # GE95ZR. If you have any additional questions let me know in the comments below.

Thank you sir. A couple of additional questions if I may. The Advent units will tie into my duct work correct? Also, will the new t-stat be compatible with my existing Dometic propane furnace?
