In the world of RVs, ensuring a steady flow of propane is crucial for functioning appliances. The JR Products Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator brilliantly combines a high-pressure first stage with a low-pressure second stage. This dual-stage setup guarantees a continuous gas flow to your appliances, providing peace of mind whether you're camping or on the road. With a 225,000 Btu/hr capacity, it’s designed to meet the demands of all your RV’s propane needs.
Nothing ruins a trip faster than a propane leak, but with this regulator's excess-flow safety device, you're securely covered. In the event of a severe leak, this feature limits the gas flow, ensuring safety for you and your loved ones. It's an essential safeguard for disaster prevention, so you can focus on enjoying your adventure.
Built with durability in mind, the regulator's zinc die-cast construction and molded rubber diaphragm provide long-lasting reliability. These materials are not only robust but also resistant to the wear and tear that comes with RV life. When you're far from home, dependability in your equipment is everything, and this regulator delivers.
No more compatibility headaches with differing fittings. The adjustable 1/4" FPT inlet and 3/8" FPT outlet make installation straightforward and quick, getting you powered up fast. Perfect for DIY enthusiasts, it ensures a snug fit across a variety of RV setups.
RVers need equipment they can trust, and this regulator meets UL 144 standards, offering a second-stage relief mechanism. Count on this UL-approved model for consistent performance, so you can travel with confidence knowing your gear is up to spec.
Whether you're outfitting an RV or setting up a propane system for outdoor seating areas at home, the JR Products Regulator adapts seamlessly. Its versatile nature means it’s not only great for RVs but also perfect for larger stationary setups, providing coverage for any propane-powered application you may have.

Today, we're going to take a look at the JR Products, excess flow two-stage POL RV LP gas regulator. Now this is a low pressure, two stage gas regulator that ensures a nice smooth, continuous flow of gas to all your appliances by combining a high pressure first stage and a low pressure second stage regulator, all into one unit. You can see on this end it has the POL inlet connection to connect to your gas cylinder. And it does contain an excess flow safety device, which will limit your gas flow, in the event of a severe leak. On this end, here is a three eight inch female FPT outlet connection. Now, the vent on here, here's your vent, the vent is actually in the nine o'clock vent position is what they call this. But you do want to make sure when you install this regulator, the vent has to be pointing down.
So the water and debris will not collect inside the regulator. So when you do install this with the vent down, it will be installed in a horizontal position. On the very top it does use a gauge port that you can unscrew this screw right here, and attach a pressure gauge to it.It has a nice zinc die-cast construction. They do use the molded rubber diaphragm. So it is UL approved.
Notice it does have the dust cover that you can unscrew and access the adjustable screw in there to adjust the pressure of the regulator.Has a nice powder coat finish to it. And the BTU capacity on this is 225,000 BTUs per hour. It does come with a nice set of detailed instructions on how this operates and how you install it. But that should do it for the review on the JR Products, excess flow two-stage POL RV LP gas regulator.
Great service arrived a day early.
