Continuous Gas Flow for All Your RV Needs: Dual Stage Power

In the world of RVs, ensuring a steady flow of propane is crucial for functioning appliances. The JR Products Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator brilliantly combines a high-pressure first stage with a low-pressure second stage. This dual-stage setup guarantees a continuous gas flow to your appliances, providing peace of mind whether you're camping or on the road. With a 225,000 Btu/hr capacity, it’s designed to meet the demands of all your RV’s propane needs.

Peace of Mind with Built-in Safety: Excess-Flow Safety Device

Nothing ruins a trip faster than a propane leak, but with this regulator's excess-flow safety device, you're securely covered. In the event of a severe leak, this feature limits the gas flow, ensuring safety for you and your loved ones. It's an essential safeguard for disaster prevention, so you can focus on enjoying your adventure.

Designed for Durability: Zinc Die Cast and Molded Rubber Diaphragm

Built with durability in mind, the regulator's zinc die-cast construction and molded rubber diaphragm provide long-lasting reliability. These materials are not only robust but also resistant to the wear and tear that comes with RV life. When you're far from home, dependability in your equipment is everything, and this regulator delivers.

Easy Installation with Universal Fit: 1/4" FPT Inlet x 3/8" FPT Outlet

No more compatibility headaches with differing fittings. The adjustable 1/4" FPT inlet and 3/8" FPT outlet make installation straightforward and quick, getting you powered up fast. Perfect for DIY enthusiasts, it ensures a snug fit across a variety of RV setups.

Industry Standard Compliance: UL Approved and Reliable

RVers need equipment they can trust, and this regulator meets UL 144 standards, offering a second-stage relief mechanism. Count on this UL-approved model for consistent performance, so you can travel with confidence knowing your gear is up to spec.

Versatile Application for Multiple Uses: Ideal for Both RVs and Stationary Tanks

Whether you're outfitting an RV or setting up a propane system for outdoor seating areas at home, the JR Products Regulator adapts seamlessly. Its versatile nature means it’s not only great for RVs but also perfect for larger stationary setups, providing coverage for any propane-powered application you may have.

Video Transcript for JR Products Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator Review

Today, we're going to take a look at the JR Products, excess flow two-stage POL RV LP gas regulator. Now this is a low pressure, two stage gas regulator that ensures a nice smooth, continuous flow of gas to all your appliances by combining a high pressure first stage and a low pressure second stage regulator, all into one unit. You can see on this end it has the POL inlet connection to connect to your gas cylinder. And it does contain an excess flow safety device, which will limit your gas flow, in the event of a severe leak. On this end, here is a three eight inch female FPT outlet connection. Now, the vent on here, here's your vent, the vent is actually in the nine o'clock vent position is what they call this. But you do want to make sure when you install this regulator, the vent has to be pointing down.

So the water and debris will not collect inside the regulator. So when you do install this with the vent down, it will be installed in a horizontal position. On the very top it does use a gauge port that you can unscrew this screw right here, and attach a pressure gauge to it.It has a nice zinc die-cast construction. They do use the molded rubber diaphragm. So it is UL approved.

Notice it does have the dust cover that you can unscrew and access the adjustable screw in there to adjust the pressure of the regulator.Has a nice powder coat finish to it. And the BTU capacity on this is 225,000 BTUs per hour. It does come with a nice set of detailed instructions on how this operates and how you install it. But that should do it for the review on the JR Products, excess flow two-stage POL RV LP gas regulator.

  • Looking For Propane Regulator For A 2016 Rpod 179
Hello Gale. I can definitely point you in the right direction. Based on the pictures I can see online the 2016 Rpod 179 appears to use a horizontal single tank regulator. Our best option to replace this is the JR Products Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator # 37207-30375. Please note that Rpod does not list regulator specs or info online, so I am basing this recommendation on pictures of other similar campers. Please do check out your and verify that yours does in fact use a horizontal...

On the type of propane tank mounted on your 1999 Fleetwood Discovery motorhome it will use a JR Products Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator # 37207-30375 coming out of the tank. It would likely be a good idea to have the propane tank and valve inspected as they are going to be 25 years old and it could be you have contaminants in the tank which have clogged your current regulator.

  • Parts Needed To Switch From Dual 30LP Propane Tanks To a Single Propane Tank On RV Camper
You can mount the Single-Bottle Liquid Propane Gas Rack # 2020-JR to your current tray holding your propane tanks. You will then be able to replace your current changeover regulator to the Regulator # 37207-30375. You may end up needing an extension hose depending on how much additional length your current hose has. We also have a Single Tank Cover # CAM40565 but you will still be able to use your current cover since the cover will strap around the base already on your trailer.

  • Difference Between 3 JR Products Propane Regulators
Those three regulators are all very similar and essentially do the same thing but they're used on different propane setups. Part # 37207-30365 is a vertical regulator. Vertical regulators are commonly on propane systems on travel trailers or pop up trailers Part # 37207-30375 is a horizontal regulator that also has POL fitting inserted into it. Horizontal regulators are usually what you see on motorhome systems. The tanks on motorhomes, called ASME tanks, also use a POL connection like...
