Does Fogatti RV Furnace FG55FR Have Vent Knockouts On The Bottom To Go Through Floor?

I’m looking at the Fogatti FG55FR as a replacement for my Atwood 8535-IV-DCLP in a 2011 Jayco Jay Flight. My old one vented through the floor. Does the Fogatti have vent knockouts on the bottom?

Michael, the Fogatti # FG55FR is designed with top and side venting, but not a direct floor knockout like your 8535 had. That said, many customers adapt it with duct rerouting, especially since Fogatti offers multiple duct connections. If preserving the floor feed is critical, you may need to either patch and reroute or consider a Dometic model with a bottom knockout like # DMC74MR

Are you hoping to keep the exact duct pattern, or is some modification okay? That’ll determine whether the Fogatti is the right fit.

The Telesteps Folding Ladder #TE27FR is going to be a bit too tall to work with a 2" tall space so you would to store it in a different area of your camper. When folded closed the dimensions are 4-1/2" x 3" x 7'.
