Question:
The photo for the EH72KR shows two upward-facing bolt holes on the right passenger side of the hitch, In the attached photo, I mean the holes circled in red. On my 2022 Kia Niro PHEV, the other photo I attached shows the corresponding attachment place. Would I remove the coverinch circled in blue to reveal a second bolt hole? These holes would be less than 2inch apart. Does that seem right? And I assume the other 4 bolts are to go into the horizontal bolt holes through the holes I circled in green. I am asking these questions because I previously bought a Curt hitch 13531 that Curt assured me would fit, but absolutely does not.

Hey Thom, thanks for the pictures. No, that's not right. This is a complicated install. I found a video for it on Torklift's Youtube page.
To install the EcoHitch item # EH72KR on your 2022 Kia Niro PHEV, you'll only use the hole that's covered by the rubber grommet. You'll remove the grommet and use one of the black rectangular pieces shown in the hardware kit, one of the bolts, and the fishwire tool. The other two bolts install horizontally. You'll do this on both sides.
The Curt Hitch item # C77NR didn't start fitting until the 2023 model year of the Niro PHEV.
What are you going to be using your hitch for?

It's just for a bike hitch - a couple of rather heavy electric bikes.
