Which Air Compressor Kits Can Be Run Down To 0 PSI?

Updated 09/08/2025 | Published 09/01/2025

Question:

I have a 2019 Ram Power Wagon. I am looking at getting air springs with the internal stops and get the cradles. The purpose is to allow 0psi to keep as much articulation as possible. The Airlift system i have on my suburban will only go down to 5 psi, does the system AL27DQ allow 0 psi setting?

Hi Dan!

While I do have an option that can air bags down to 0 psi, the AirLift options will not. And actually, Firestone will not do this either.

You will want the Pacbrake Premium In-Cab Air Control Kit w/ Compressor, Tank, and Digital Gauge - Independent Fill # PB48ZV. This can go from 0 to 220 psi, but it does only have a 1/2 gallon tank and does not have a wireless option.

Do you already have air bags on your 2019 Ram Power Wagon? If you do, make sure they have internal jounces as they are the only ones that can be run at 0 psi. If you do not already have bags, let me know!

I have not bought airbags yet for my 2019 power wagon, what do you recommend? I am leaning towards these air spring AL57289 with cradles AL59DQ.

@DanW While the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL57289 will fit your Power Wagon, these ones cannot be run at 0 psi. I strongly recommend getting the ones with the internal jounce as to not damage them. That part is Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers - Rear Axle # AL88289. These will also work with the Air Lift Air Helper Spring Cradle # AL59DQ, so no issues there.

@LazerS Thanks I just ordered the 3 items you recommended. I like the smaller air tank, due to rock sliders i don't have a lot of room.
