Heavy trailers or bed loads can make a truck squat and throw off balance, steering, and braking. The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bags add up to 5,000 lbs of rear axle support to keep your truck level and stable when towing or hauling. The double-convoluted air springs work with your factory suspension so your headlights stay aimed where they should, your braking stays consistent, and your ride feels steady even with weight on board.
No need to climb in and out of the cab to get your stance right. The included compressor and wireless system let you inflate or deflate both air bags together using Firestone’s app on your smartphone. You can fine-tune pressure from 5 to 100 psi while standing at the hitch, at the campsite, or inside the cab. It’s a simple way to dial in your ride height for towing or running light.
Everything you need comes right in the box—air bags, Air Command 9523 standard duty compressor, wireless control system, no-drill mounting panel, brackets, fittings, air lines, and hardware. The precision brackets bolt to factory attachment points so the setup fits where it should without extra drilling. Depending on experience, installation can take up to a day using standard tools.
Road salt, moisture, and grime can eat through ordinary hardware fast. Firestone uses plated, coated, or brass components to resist corrosion and keep fittings sealed tight. The leak-resistant rubber design holds pressure reliably for smooth performance season after season. With a limited lifetime warranty on the air bags and 2-year coverage on the compressor, brackets, fittings, and hardware, this system is built for years of dependable use.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this Firestone Ride-Rite Airbag Kit with Easy-Mount Compressor and Wireless Control. Now, if you're looking to keep your truck level, stable, and comfortable while you're towing or hauling, this Firestone Air-Ride Ride-Rite Kit's gonna be a great option for you to consider. The air springs are custom-fit for your specific truck, and these use specific vehicle-specific brackets that are going to take advantage of the vehicle mounting points, so because of that, you're not gonna have to worry about any guess work or any major modifications to your truck. So, speaking of fitment, this is designed to fit your 2011 to 2016 Ford F-250 and F-350, both the two-wheel and four-wheel-drive models, and then your 2011 to 2013 F-450 4-wheel-drive model. And on custom-fit parts such as this kit, I do recommend taking advantage of our Vehicle Fit Guide here at etrailer.
Just pop in the year, make and model of your vehicle and answer any other questions that it might have for you, and our Fit Guide will confirm if this kit will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. So, this system is going to give you up to 5,000 pounds of additional load-leveling support. That means it's gonna help your rear suspension stay level under those heavy loads. This is gonna help improve handling, braking, and overall stability. And it is important to note that these airbags don't actually increase your truck's maximum payload, so you still have to stay within the manufacturers recommended weight limits, but they are going to make hauling and towing a whole lot more safer, controlled, and comfortable.
Included is this compressor, and it's a small, compact compressor, as you can see here. This obviously runs on your 12-volt power, and this is designed for reliable, everyday use. It doesn't require the use of an air tank. And this kit also includes a no-drill mounting bracket for the compressor, and for that wireless controller. And as you can see, I pretty much have the parts laid out here on my table.
I tried to assemble the airbag brackets the way that they're going to be on your vehicle, but I thought it'd be better to pop up a few images there, showing you what the brackets are gonna look like with the airbags, and then also showing you the no-drill mounting bracket for the compressor and the wireless controller. So, hopefully that gives you a good idea of how these parts are all going to come together. And so, it's gonna be a pretty simple installation overall. And one of the biggest perks in this particular kit is the wireless app-based control system. And you're gonna be able to inflate or deflate both airbags at the same time from your smartphone, so whether you're sitting in the cab or you're standing outside checking your trailer, the pressure's gonna be adjustable between five and 100 PSI, so you're gonna be able to dial in exactly the support that you're looking for.
So, this will be a single-path control system, and the app is gonna be a free download whether you're using Android or iOS. And so you'll just download that app, connect it to the system, and you'll be good to go. So, everything that you see here on my table is going to be included with this kit, along with instructions to guide you through the installation and the operation. If you happen to have any other additional questions, whether it's about this kit or anything else that we have here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out. We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. If there's any other measurements or specs that you're looking for, do take a look at this product page. We do have some more information on there that you might be looking for that I didn't cover with you today. Well, again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.

I like how the Firestone All-in-one comes with everything I needed without needing to piece together a bunch of parts. The best part is that the air bags and the compressor system come in one package, so everything is already matched and ready to install. I still had to mount the compressor myself, but there’s no guesswork on what works with what.
Installation takes a little time, but the bags make a noticeable difference. They level out the truck, cut down on squat, and help everything feel more stable when you’re towing. And with the onboard compressor, I can add or remove air whenever I need, without carrying around a bulky compressor or stopping at the gas station.
It’s a solid, well-built kit that simplifies the whole process. For anyone who tows often and wants a clean, all-in-one solution, it’s a great fit.
