Can Honda 3000is Generator Fit in etrailer Enclosed Cargo Carrier
Updated 09/02/2025 | Published 08/28/2025 >
Question:
I have a 2026 Alliance 23ML and would like to add an enclosed rear rack for my Honda 3000is generator. Measuring the generator it looks to be 22 3/4foot tall. Will it fit through the opening or would I have to remove the enclosure to get the generator inside first? Were making a trip to Alaska next year and need something that can take a little beating. The generator will fit in front of my fifth wheel hitch but I dont like the idea of having gas cans and a running generator together in the truck bed. My fifth wheel tow hitch is rated for 3000. Ive pulled my 21foot boat behind it with no issues.

Hey DeWayne, yes your Honda 3000is generator would pretty easily fit through the open doors on the enclosure of the 24x60 etrailer Enclosed Cargo Carrier for RV Bumper # e34VV that you referenced. This thing is pretty rugged too so it would be tough enough for what you need as well.
How long of a drive is it to Alaska from where you are at?
