What 7 Way will Work for the Bed of My 1996 Dodge Ram Pickup with Factory 3 and 4 Pin?

Question:
Hi I have a 7 pin plug bed adapter that says its for a 96 dodge. My issue is the adapter is a single 7 pin connector where the truck has a 4 pin and a 3 pin. Is there an adapter that will go from the 3 and 4 pin to a single 7 pin so I can make the bed connection work or do I need to install new connectors on the truck and harness for the adapter

Hello Cris,
The Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 7' Long # C56071 is designed to pigtail into your 1996 Dodges wiring behind your trailer connector. I would look behind the 3 pin and 4 pin to see how it is hooked up, you should see the connectors that the # C56071 will plug into. I attached a picture of the connectors.
If this is not correct, please send me pictures of the 3 and 4 pin, and how it is wired behind, please make sure the pictures of the connectors are nice a visible. You can send the pictures by responding directly to the email you receive.
What are you going to be towing that you need to add the 7 way to the bed?

Hey Cris, Did you have a chance to check how the 3 pin and 4 pin are hooked up behind your truck's trailer connector? If you're still looking for a solution, I'm happy to help.
