Trying to deter if the SoftStartRV is the best fit for my 2022 Transcend Xplor with Furrion AC single init

It sure is Barry! The SoftStartRV Soft Start item # SSR54FR is exactly what you need for a Furrion AC unit. It'll lower the amps required during startup so you can run other appliances at the same time or power your Grand Design off of a generator.

The SoftStartRV item # SSR54FR is a standalone unit that will be hardwired into your Furrion AC. I have attached the wiring diagram below so you can see how to get it set up.

What has you looking at installing a soft start? Are you using a generator or just wanting a quieter air conditioner?

I have two soft starts on my keystone Arcadia. They work great. I’m able to run both on my 3000 watt inverter with 400 amp lithium batteries.

I installed the SoftStart based on recommendation of a YouTube RV channel. I especially appreciated the easy do-it-yourself installation & good wiring diagram. Works well. Would do it again.
