How Does the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack Attach to the Roof of a 2022 Subaru Outback?

How exactly does the Malone Airflow fit to my 22 Outback? There are no rails on the factory roof rack. Thanks

Hey Gary. Does your 2022 Subaru Outback have side rails mounted on the roof just above the doors? That's what the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack item # MAL84AR attaches to.

I attached a picture below that a customer sent in so you can see what I'm talking about.

Does your Outback have something different on the roof?

I don’t have the Wilderness version so the Malone racks won’t work. Thanks Gary

@JerredH You're welcome. I checked with our vendors and since you do not have the roof rails, you'll need the Yakima SkyLine Roof Rack for Fixed Mounting Points -item # Y39TB. Does yours have some kind of rail on the top or is your roof completely bare. I checked with our vendors and no one has the clamps needed for a bare roof.
