Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking together at this tamper-proof door latch with a 55 inch long pipe for enclosed trailers with a nice zinc-plated steel finish. Now folks, this is a cam action latch door with pre-installed pipe and hinges. It's gonna be ideal for the side or small rear doors on utility trailers, vans and trucks. Now, the hasp would be sold separately that this handle would go into.
You can purchase that here at etrailer.com, again, sold separately. Again, it's 14 inch long on the handle here. The black rubber here keeps your hand from slipping in wet conditions, and the corrosion resistant finish on the whole thing is a nice zinc coating. Now, there is no minor hardware included. You need to source that locally or separately.
Once again, the overall length of the pipe is 55 inches. Now, I'm gonna try to show you a hinge a little closer here if I can. So, your standard hinge for these kind of door latches and everything. Again, the hardware is sold separately or you can source it locally along with the last. And that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look together.

Weld on handle separated after about 9 months, rendering the part useless
Was an exact fit as I hoped it would be. Quick shipping, but like everything these days.....more money than I wanted to spend :-) . I will by from etrailer again
The hinge is welded about 1/4" too short and does not hit the same hole pattern as the old handle. 2-Stars because they are working on trying to resolve the issue, but it's taken a few weeks so far with no resolution yet.

The door latches worked GREAT! Installed VERY EASILY!
First of all I’m not happy with the quality of the parts. They seem very cheaply made especially compared to the original equipment. I had to completely reengineer the mounts in order for them to fit. I knew some modifications were likely going to be needed but the over all quality was my main disappointment.
Worked perfect as replacement for my tr ailer.
