Will BrandMotion Camera System Work On 2021 Jayco White Hawk That's Pre-Wired For Furrion Camera?

Updated 09/04/2025 | Published 08/13/2025

Question:

We have a 2021 Jayco White Hawk that’s pre-wired for a Furrion camera. Will this Brandmotion system hook right up or will I have to run new wires?

Todd, you’re in luck since Brandmotion Wireless Observation Cam Kit # BM37SR includes an adapter plate and power lead for trailers that are already pre-wired for Furrion-style cameras.

You’ll just remove the Furrion cover plate, plug the Brandmotion power adapter into the 3.5 mm connector inside, and mount the camera using the included bracket. No need to run wires through the wall. Just remember to tape your connections so they don’t shake loose, and power the camera by switching on your tow vehicle’s parking lights before pairing to the monitor.

Has it been pretty difficult to see around the trailer without having a camera system?

Thanks Andrew, that helps a lot. Quick question though, if I ever wanted to switch back to a Furrion system down the road, would the Brandmotion adapter plate leave extra holes or anything showing on the Jayco?

@Todd Hey Todd, the Brandmotion adapter plate uses the same footprint as the Furrion cover, so you’re not drilling any new holes into the wall. If you ever did decide to go back to a Furrion, you’d just remove the Brandmotion camera and plate, then reinstall the Furrion bracket and cover. The only thing I’d recommend is using a bit of clear sealant around the screw heads when you swap things back—just to be sure you’ve got a watertight seal. Otherwise, no permanent marks or extra holes to worry about. Are you leaning toward Brandmotion mainly for the wider field of view, or more for the wireless monitor features? I’d love to hear what’s driving your decision so we can make sure you’re set up for the long haul.
