Hi Brandon!

We have several power retractable bed covers for your 2024 Ford F350 with an 8' bed, though no Retrax options (they don't have one for an 8' bed for some reason). All of them are from Pace Edwards and I recommend the UltraGroove Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover - Electric - Aluminum - Matte Black # PE87QJ. Reason being, this one is rack compatible, low profile (inside bed rails), has a built-in lock and has an aluminum construction.

I have had a Pace Edwards cover on my Silverado (though not a powered one) since 2018 and it has served me very well. I may have broken it a little by shoving a bookcase into it rather hard when it wasn't opened all the way, but that was not the fault of the cover. It does still work, but I would refrain from doing that if you go with the UltraGroove. : P

What will you be keeping in your bed?

Thanks for the information Lazer. Has there been any problems with the electric opening covers? I leaning towards the electric ones because of the simplicity to them. Are they able to lock at any position? Will I still be able to use the stake pockets for tie downs with this system to top of bed rails? Most items will be luggage from long road trips and camping equipment. Thanks again

@BrandonB The Pace Edwards UltraGroove can be locked open in any position and I think most options can as well, but I can't say that for sure. The rails that attach to the bed of your truck will not really allow for use of the stake pockets, but each of the rails has a T-slot. This allows you to attach a ladder rack or tie down loops or those sorts of things. As to the problems, I can't honestly say I have seen any. Well, at least with reputable brands. I have seen a cheap knockoff one from the forbidden jungle website (I think you know to which site I am referring) where to motor completely went out after about a month. This was actually a buddy of mine and he had a heck of a time getting it to fit as well. I would definitely stay away from knockoffs.
