Correct Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit for 2021 Keystone Montana 3781RL

Question:

Hello i have a Montana 3781RL and would like to install the Roadmaster Comfort ride leaf spring kit. The trailer has the D70 Dexter axels. I was looking at the 8k set, in the QandA section a previous question was asked the the response was the 8k may be more aggressive than needed. Please look at the trailer specs and let me know if the 7k kit would be better for my application. Thank you

Hey Bryan! It looks like you ordered the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit # RM-2460-2570 for 7k axles which is the one you needed to get. These kits are axle diameter dependent and this one is designed for 3" diameter axles like your Dexter D70. The 8k kit would be a little overrated but more importantly it is designed for 3-1/2" diameter axles so it wouldn't fit correctly.

Any big trips planned before the end of summer once you get it all installed?

Hey Bryan, did the 7k kit fit well with your Dexter D70 axles? I'd love to hear how it worked out for you, as it could help others with similar trailers.
