Question:
Is it OK to install the RM slipper spring system on a 5th wheel that tows slightly nose up?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes, you can still install the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit even though the trailer rides slightly nose high when coupled to the tow vehicle. When installing one of these kits you'll most likely need to get longer U-bolts since there typically aren't enough threads to accommodate the additional mounting brackets. To determine the right kit and U-bolts you'll need to know the capacity and diameter of your axles and how many axles your trailer has.
3.5k 2-3/8" Tandem Axles # RM82MR
5k 3" Tandem Axles # RM-2460-2560
7k 3" Tandem Axles # RM-2460-2570
5k 3" Triple Axles # RM-2460-2560-3
7k 3" Triple Axles # RM-2460-2570-3
8k 3" Triple Axles # RM-2460-2580-3
8k 3-1/2 " Triple Axles # RM-2470-2580-3
U-Bolt Kits:
2-3/8" Diameter Axle # CE23002
3" Diameter Axle # CE23003
3-1/2" Diameter Axle # APUBR-35
You'll need a U-Bolt kit for each axle. I;ve attached a video below where I'll walk you through the installation process.
