Will Hollywood Racks Crosstrack Bike Rack Scrape Driveway When Pulling In?

I’ve got a 2022 Acura tlx and a tilted driveway. Will the hitch or rack scrape when I pull in?

Expert Reply:
You’re not alone, one tlx owner mentioned zero scraping issues even on steep driveways because the hitch mounts well above the exhaust and clearance is generous. As long as your hitch is installed correctly, the Crosstrack should ride high enough to avoid scraping.
The Hollywood Racks Crosstrack Bike Rack for 1 Bike - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # HLY68RR will extend out from the hitch approximately 25" give or take depending on the vehicle and hitch. Luckily it doesn't drop down lower than the hitch, so you can pretty much just measure back 25" from your hitch and see if it'll scrape.
If you think you can get by with more length, I'd recommend the 2 bike version # HLY48RR in case you ever want to bring a friend.
