Hello Glen,

The Replacement Step Control Module for Lippert Tread Lite Powered RV Steps # LC334850 is a replacement control module specifically designed for Lippert Tread Lite electric RV steps. There is no “brake control motor” in the step system.

Can you please send me a picture of the part you are referring to by responding directly to the email you receive? Please include the model number to the steps that you have as well. I look forward to hearing back from you.

Not to sure model # for my steps..My RV is a 2019 precision pursuit 29 SS.. coachman..the motor #339894 has a brake control on top of the motor and the wires are going to the step control module #334850.. talked with lippert and the brake stop control # is 340942. I have tested my motor and it works just fine when I remove the brake stop controller...so I believe I do need a new module.but unsure about the brake stop and how it works....Any help much needed... @GlenT Thanks for getting that picture sent over to me Glen. I know that our Replacement Electric Motor Assembly for Lippert Coach RV Steps # LC63BX is the Lippert motor part number 339894, so that would replace the motor. When it comes to the brake stop control, I cannot find any information on part number 340942. I am going to reach out to Lippert directly with the picture and all the information to see what we can do as far as replacement parts. I will let you know as soon as I hear back, it probably won't be until Monday or Tuesday.

@Glen Great news Glen, well half way great news..... they do not sell the just the brake motor portion, so it would require for you to get both the motor and the brake on the top, which is why I said half way great news. You will want the Replacement Electric Motor Assembly for Lippert Coach RV Steps # LC63BX. I confirmed this with Lippert, sorry for the delay in getting an answer.
