Question:
I have a 2009 Winnebago Adventurer 32H that has the original AC located in the basement. The unit runs ok but it does not cool enough for our needs. I am thinking it would be great to install a Dometic Chill Cube for additional cooling. so this is a new installation meaning I need to cut a hole in the roof and run power to the Chill Cube, What are your thoughts?

Hey John, I think that's a great idea. The Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box item # FR59TD in white or item # FR27TD in black are the most popular air conditioner set up on the market this year.
This is Furrion's new AC unit for 2025 and meets the EPA R32 coolant regulations. This AC has a really low power draw, variable speed compressor, and is incredibly quiet. The cooling power may seem high but the compressor is always running to keep it efficient so it won't continuously cycle and wear itself out.
The Furrion Chill Cubes item # FR59TD or item # FR27TD includes the 18,000 btu Furrion Chill Cube, a remote control, and an air distribution box for ductless systems. It fits roofs from 3-1/2" to 6" thick and a 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" roof opening.
What model AC system are you currently running?
