Items Needed for Flat Towing 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Behind Motor Home
Question:
Good Afternoon, When I purchase My Motorhome it came equipped with the Roadmaster Brakemaster. RM9100. I would like to install it in my 2004 jeep grand Cherokee and was going to purchase the Quick disconnects, RM-921004-50 and 921004-60 and about 15 feet of air hose and also the Custom seat adapter RM-88150. I also know I need to run an additional wire with the air hose. In addtional I was going to purchase the towbar wiring kit RM-155. For the lights. Is this correct, will I need anything else for lights or brakes?

Flat towing a vehicle requires a number of components, including base plates for the dinghy, safety cables, a tow bar, and a lighting kit along with the braking system you have. The linked article covers each of these various items.
For base plates I suggest the Blue Ox Kit # BX1121 (which fits all versions except the SRT-8) and which includes the required safety cables. A compatible tow bar for use with these base plates is the Blue Ox Alpha Tow Bar # BX7365.
For lighting/wiring you can use the Roadmaster # RM-155 kit that you referenced. For the easiest option of all you might consider a set of magnetic lights, such as # TLL21RK from Optronics that does not require modifications to your towed vehicle and is easy to install and remove.
