Can Thule Lid Lifter Hinge be Used for Front and Back of Roof Box?

Is it the same lifter for the front and the rear my lifter isn’t broken it just keeps slipping off the ball

What roof box do you have? I believe the Replacement Lid Lifter Hinge # TH14936 will work for both the front and back, but I'd like to confirm the fitment if you can let me know your box model.
