Question:
I have Thule Force XT car top carrier. It was damaged as to all the connecting pieces that tie the upper shell to the lower shell were busted. Do you carry these parts for a Thule Force XT? Thanks.

Hey Dave. To replace the hinges that connect the lid to the base on a Thule Force XT you'll need two of the Replacement Lid Lifter Hinge for Thule Force XT XL Rooftop Cargo Boxes item # TH93VA.

Hello, thanks for the reply to my question. Unfortunately, the part you show is not the parts I need. I didn't phrase my description well. The part I need is the one that locks in the upper shell, to the lower shell. There are six of them. Three on each side. When I was searching the internet today for Thule parts I discovered that this is called the locking hook. It showed a part number of 10939. Is it possible to get 5 of these? You ask how did your cargo box get damaged. Well that is a little bit embarrassing, but what the hey, I guess honesty is the best policy. My wife and I after a snow birding winter, moved into our new apartment after 3 nights on the road. Bad night sleep from the night before. Extremely exhausted from unloading everything to the apartment. In a daze, so happy that I can sit down and relax, I got into the vehicle, hit the garage door opener to a garage that I have never entered before, and stupidly drove thought the entrance until I heard the nasty sound of the Thule car top carrier, being resisted by the fact that there was not enough clearance for it. Just needed one more inch. Dam. So I hope you have that part for me, because I just bought the Thule two years ago. Thanks Dave
