Will Inno Roof Rack Scratch Paint on 2016 Audi A4

Question:
Do these roof racks for naked roofs scratch up the cars paint? I am looking at getting the Inno roof rack and possibly a Benton cargo carrier for a road trip that we are planning. I like to clean my car up after we get back from trips and keep it clean in general, so Im just curious how well the rubber bits prevent the paint from getting scratched up or if I should maybe put some additional pads or something under them. My car is a 2016 Audi A4 and does not have any existing roof rails or crossbars.

Hey Ryan! As long as you clean the mounting points on your car before installation the # IN34XR won't scratch the paint. The coating and padding on the feet and clamps, along with the custom fit design, will prevent any scratches.
The square bars are the most cost effective but you might want to consider the # IN77PR with aero bars if you're going to use the roof rack a lot. The aero design goes a long way when it comes to keeping noise and drag down. The Benton ShellRaiser # B44FR is compatible with both crossbar designs.

Perfect, thank you. I won't be using it more than a few times a year at most so I'm not too worried about wind noise, so I think the square ones would probably work. I had looked at the Benton carriers as well, I think whenever I end up getting a carrier I'll go with one of those. Thanks again for the help!
