I have some new plywood repairs in the roof, should it be painted or primed before installing the adhesive?

Hey Steve, it would not be necessary to paint or prime the plywood before using butyle tape like the part # 344270341411-1. There's nothing in the wood that would affect the adhesive. How bad was the wood rot?

Hey Kaleb, if you look at the inner portion of the Grease Seal Kit part #DX49CR you can see three lips/ridges. That is what is meant by triple lip. I attached a picture that has the section to look at.
