Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look at our Alpha Systems Q130. This is gonna be a RV or camper butyl tape. It measures one-eighth inch thick, three-quarter inches wide, and it's gonna be on a 35-foot roll. So folks, you're gonna be using this for ceiling joint seams, if you're repairing maybe like an AC, duct work and stuff inside the roof, maybe some side panels and stuff.
What you're gonna do if you've never used this stuff, it's kind of like a squishable putty, and you'll literally cut it to length, you'll take off, you'll flatten it wherever you need to, and then you'll peel off this brown backing. And then you'll push your vent, in this case, you know, in place, and this is gonna make that watertight seal. You can actually put screws right through it. It's gonna enclose all the threads automatically as it's going through it, and it's just gonna keep everything watertight. Super resistant to water, weather, and air intrusion.
And this is a non-drying compound, so it's gonna maintain that consistent kind of putty-like texture, if you will, giving you consistent long-term sealant. This works great on non-porous substrates. It works in hot and cold temperatures. Again, this is for marine, camper, RV, roof seams, duct sealant issues, those kind of things. It's a great product.
This is butyl tape. I'm Steve with etrailer. Thanks for watching.
