Bike Rack for E-Bikes on Travel Trailer With Bumper Mounted Hitch

Updated 08/15/2025 | Published 07/19/2025

Question:

I recently purchased a travel trailer and attached to its rear bumper is a 2-inch receiver securely fastened with U-bolts, with a weight capacity of 200 pounds. I require a rack recommendation for two e-bikes: one is a Levo Mountain Bike, and the other is a Como 4.0 with front and rear fenders. Thanks for the help.

Hey Laz! You're pretty limited since you need a bike rack that is rated for a travel trailer and compatible with fenders but there are racks that will work. I recommend the Lets Go Aero V-Lectric VFR Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # LGA25VR. This has the travel trailer rating you need, a capacity of 80 lbs per bike, and a ramp for easy loading.

It does use a wheel mount but the way it works with the straps makes it compatible with fenders. I attached a picture below where you can see another customer used this for their Aventon bikes with fenders without any issues. The weight of the bike rack is 85 lbs so you want to make sure that doesn't exceed the capacity of that hitch with the bikes loaded on it.

Any big trips panned with your new travel trailer?
