Lightweight And Small 2 Bike Carrier For 2015 Honda Civic With 1-1/4" Hitch

Question:
I just bought a 2015 Honda Civic with a 1-1/4” hitch. Is the Outpace light enough to remove between rides? I don't want a permanent fixture on the back if it's that big and bulky.

Expert Reply:
It absolutely is, Jenna. The Outpace # TH39SA weighs just under 30 lbs, about half what most platform racks do, so it’s easy to carry down from an apartment or lift out of your trunk solo. When folded, it's only 24" long x 30" wide x 10" tall.
And thanks to the integrated hand knob, it secures without tools. That’s a big plus when you’re frequently swapping it on and off.
I attached an installation video where Evangeline and a Thule rep show you how to use it!
One thing to note is that since you have a 1-1/4" receiver, you won't need to use the included 2" adapter.
