Can Thule OutPace Bike Rack Carry An Electra Townie Cruiser Step Through Bike With Fenders?

Can this rack carry my Electra Townie cruiser? It’s a step-through frame with fenders. I don’t want to mess with adapter bars if I don’t have to. – Ron

Ron, you’re in luck. The Thule OutPace Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - (1-1/4" and 2" Hitches) # TH39SA was made for setups like yours.
The frame clamps are fully adjustable and pivot to grab almost any part of the frame, even on low-slung cruisers like yours. It’ll clamp comfortably to the downtube or seat post, avoiding your fenders entirely. No adapter bar needed.
Have you had to use adapter bars in the past? They are nice to have when you need them, but it's best to have a bike rack designed to work with the bike from the start.
