I will have 2 carbon frame mountain bikes with a Valuation of 6k dollars each, so I really want them to be secure and protected. The bars are 780mm so the handlebars have to be considered to not interfere with each other. and tire size will be between 2.0 and 2.6. Last but not least, I really want to protect the vehicle as well, so I would like the bikes to have some clearance from the rear of the vehicle. Which platform style hitch bike racks will undoubtly work with this trailer hitch?

The best bike rack option we have for expensive carbon fiber frame bikes is the Kuat NV 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack part # NV22B for 2" or part # NV12B for 1-1/4". The NV holds the bikes by the wheels so there will be no chance for damage to the frame and it comes with locks for both the bike rack and bikes so there will be a decreased chance of theft. It works with tire sizes up to 3" so there will be no problems here either and it comes with a really nice finish.
