Question:
Looking for advice on correct setup. I am favoring the 14inch plastic fenders with steps. Attached is my current setup, that is from 1999. It has seen better days. The frame measures 1.5inch width x 4inch height. It is a C channel frame with the inside open. Need help with correct hangers and brackets, preferably square u bolts?

Hey Michael, thanks for the pictures of the fenders on your boat trailer. The best option is probably the CE Smith Fenders like the part # CE19504 that you referenced. These will require brackets like the part # PF1135-BKT-2 which you could either attach with U-bolts or by welding them directly to the bottom of the trailer frame. You could probably transfer your clearnace

Hey Michael, how did the installation of the CE Smith Fenders and the brackets go on your boat trailer? I'm curious to know if the U-bolts worked out for you or if you decided to weld them. Your feedback could really help others in a similar situation!
